Nigeria

Nigeria is located on the west coast of the Gulf of Guinea, and borders Benin, Chad, Cameroon, and Niger and is larger than the State of Texas.  It is Africa’s most populated country.   It is estimated that there are about 175 million people living in Nigeria   There are over 500 people groups within Nigeria, which means that there are hundreds of languages spoken in this nation.  About half of all Nigerian households have access to electricity, and even those who do often only have it for a few hours a day.   Nigeria's people struggle with inadequate supply of safe water and the high prices of many consumer goods.

The north of Nigeria is a hotbed for radical Islam. But in the midst of it all, we are training Christian missionaries. Amazing! With over 543 people groups in Nigeria and the Gospel being penetrated throughout the nation, there are still 91 Unreached People Groups in Nigeria.

All of our Unreached People Group statistics come from The Joshua Project, who’s whole mission is to bring awareness to all of the Unreached People Groups all around the world! Clicking on the link above that says “learn more” will take you to the Joshua Project website of that Unreached People Group.
