Ghana

Ghana is located on the west coast of Africa. Although relatively small in area and population, Ghana is one of the leading countries of Africa, partly because of its natural wealth and partly because it was the first black African country south of the Sahara to achieve independence from colonial rule.

One would think that Ghana is a largely Christian nation. However, when you get out of the big cities, you find much fewer churches, and many of the people are steeped in animism. Islam is also taking steps to infiltrate Ghana. Aside from finishing the job to reach the remaining least reached from border to border in Ghana, we desire to see each high school in Ghana have a Christian club with Live School in it. We believe it is time to pass the baton to the next generation.  Although Ghana is "evangelized" in the major cities, we have found that there are areas within Ghana that are closed to the Gospel due to Islamism.  Out of 111 people groups in Ghana, there are still 20 Unreached People Groups.

About Ghana
