JEHOVAH KANNA

Exodus 34:10 (NASB), "Then God said, "Behold, I am going to make a covenant. Before all your people I will perform miracles which have not been produced in all the earth nor among any of the nations; and all the people among whom you live will see the working of the LORD, for it is a fearful thing that I am going to perform with you.

So many think "God could never use me, like so-and-so." Actually, God, BY HIS GRACE, can use anyone. Moses was a murderer; so was Paul! There was nothing innate about them that made them "special" compared to you. It is ALL ABOUT HIM, not us. Let us not discount God's power to use us by thinking that we aren't good enough, anointed enough, or have enough charisma. "...I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me...," (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Don't say "no" to God. Agree with Him. Make yourself available to Him. Walk by faith IN HIM.

It has been said, "The anointing will get you there; godly character will keep you there." When secure in Him and His love, we won't fall for the temptation to steal His glory to be someone "special," for we are special. We are BELOVED children of God (1John 3:1-3)! Our identity is in Him and His love for us! Get rid of "the pride of the worm." Don't disqualify yourself for fear of robbing His glory. He has qualified You (Colossians 1:12)! Walk in the obedience of relational faith with Him. Receive His love, every minute of every day, and let Him be your ALL IN ALL (Galatians 2:20; Ephesians 1:23; 1 Corinthians 15:10, 28).

JEHOVAH KANNA
JEHOVAH KANNA is a lesser-known name of God but it contains an important faith-building aspect of His character. It is often assumed that jealousy is a negative trait. Certainly, when we talk about envy of the possessions and achievements of others it is a trait to be avoided. However pure jealousy is something different. It relates to an exclusive devotion based on a deep personal relationship ... God is jealous for us and He has traveled from heaven to earth, even facing death on the cross to rescue us from the evil forces that hold us captive. Thank God He is jealous!
