Chip & Kathy Carroll have been actively involved in missions for almost 30 years. Chip earned his Master of Divinity in 1999 and spent the next 12 years working in land development and cattle ranching. While they remained involved with missions, in 2011 the Carroll’s sold their ranch and business interests to focus their attention more fully on their passion to bring the Gospel to the unreached. Since then, the use of Live School (LS) to train indigenous missionaries has grown into all 24 countries of the West and Central Africa (WACA) region they oversee. Chip and Kathy serve as the WACA Regional Directors for World Missions Centre. Married in 1987, they have a growing family of 4 children, a daughter-in-law, and 3 grandsons.

It has been my joy to have Chip & Kathy involved with us over many years in World Mission Centre. First in a five-year project called Lake to Sea where we saw 101 churches planted in the most unreached provinces of Mozambique and in the last few years in the West and Central Africa (WACA) region.
Chip in the meantime registered a 501(c)3 organization called Sonrise International through which he is driving the vision of establishing Live School in WACA. Today, Sonrise has become one of our key partners in the work being done by the World Mission Centre across 95 countries of the world.
Chip & Kathy are first of all friends, part of our greater family, and leaders among leaders in the Lord’s Kingdom. We highly respect, honor, appreciate and love them and pray that as you read this message you will pray and find a way to come on board to join them in the great work they are doing in releasing workers into the harvest field of WACA.

Duane Erickson, The Bridge Family Worship Center, Pastor
In addition, they are fervent in their prayer life. Because of their commitment, they have developed a great team in West and Central Africa. Live School is a game-changer in equipping and training Pastors. I highly recommend this ministry.

Grant Dryden, Farming God's Way, Founder
I have known Chip for only a few years now but I have had the privilege of seeing his influence more than most at the coal face. He has traveled extensively throughout the West and Central (WACA) region in terrible conditions, with public transport which is at best the worst you would ever dream of, encountered enormous trials, opposition, and near-death experiences, all at great personal sacrifice for a man of his stature. However, he would never harp on these, counting them as nothing compared to the upward call of God on his life.
He has tirelessly worked through leadership platforms and churches, breaking down theological barriers and denominational divisions to establish a network of like-minded men of God who want to see the Kingdom of God advance throughout the nations that God has placed them into. This network is extensive and its influence is growing all the time – Sonrise has really mixed the leaven into the dough!!!
My involvement with Chip began when he heard about Farming God's Way and he immediately saw the Kingdom potential to bring transformation into the nations with both Word and deed. It has been a great joy and privilege to serve alongside such a dynamic and passionate team whose one desire is to see the fullness of God’s promised abundant life revealed throughout their areas of influence.
